• A man married to 1 woman, A single man, A single woman (1 Tim 3:8-12, Romans 16:1-2)

 

Biblical Qualifications for a Deacon (1 Tim 3: 8-12, Acts 6:3)

• Person of dignity

• Not insincere (prone to double-talk)

• Not prone to much wine (substances)

• Not greedy

• A truly converted christian

• Not a malicious gossip

• Temperate

• Faithful

• Of Good reputation

• Full of the Spirit

• Full of Wisdom
